Our Philosophy

Victoria Lillingston (Tori) - Gustoso Proprietor

Tori grew up surrounded by good food, it’s in her blood! Famous at Cambridge for her dinner parties, garden parties etc, Tori is happiest when she is preparing great food. During her time at uni she worked at the weekends for a delicatessen. Despite gaining her degree in Geography she then joined R.H Amar & Co. Ltd, renowned fine food importers and distributors as a marketing and PR manager. Having found that a desk job was not for her, she left to fulfil her life long ambition to open a deli - and here she is now!

Jonathon Shearme (Jonty)– Buying Director

Jonty is Tori’s uncle and has been her inspiration and support through the process of setting up Gustoso. Jonty has two deli’s of his own back home on the ranch in Suffolk and has worked in the food business all his life. His wealth of buying expertise helps bring Gustoso customers the best quality products at the most reasonable prices.

Dan Hoffman

Dan joins Gustoso from down under, Dan comes from a business background, helping his dad out in his shop. Dan has picked up the Gustoso culture very quickly and is fast becoming an invaluable asset.

Rosie Silva

Rosie is an absolute star in the kitchen she helps Victoria to prepare all the freshly prepared goodies. Be careful though her English is very shaky so she’s likely to look at you blankly if you ask her if we stock pickled gerkins.

Lenka Kocourkova

Lenka joins us from the Cheq Republic, she helps us out a couple of nights a week and on Sundays Lenka is in London studying for a hospitality management course so she’s teaching Victoria some new tricks.
